assignments with different clients;
1. Baseline Evaluation of Lego
foundation-funded Let’s Learn Through Play Rwanda’ (Twigire Mumikino Rwanda)
Project with VSO Rwanda
Education Development Consult (EDC) has been
entrusted by VSO Rwanda to spearhead the monitoring, evaluation, and learning
efforts for the Twigire Mumikino Rwanda (TMR) project.
Over the past year, EDC has been hard at work, and
we're proud to share that we’ve successfully completed the baseline evaluation
of the TMR project in January 2024, spanning all 30 districts of Rwanda.
EDC’s comprehensive evaluation involved:
- Sampling 372 schools
- Engaging with 900 early childhood learners and
their parents
- Collaborating with 372 school leaders
- Facilitating 15 Focus Group Discussions. But
that's not all! As part of EDC’s commitment to excellence, EDC’s experts
in research utilized the International Development and Early Learning
Assessment (IDELA) to measure the learning outcomes of the learners,
ensuring a holistic understanding of their progress.

instructional methods for 198 teachers and 120 Reading Camps facilitators
- Caregiver/Parent survey tool to gather
insights from 1000 parents
